TV shows i miss!!

The Third version of KBC went on air yesterday but i was unable to catch it, cause i happen to live in the city of chennai where in the set top box is needed to view all these paid channels of the star network, though the tamil version of the KBC has been aired in vijay tv it is being aired at 7.00 PM :( a time where in i wouldnt have even returned from my office(plus the chennai traffic to be taken to account as well) i liked the first version very much than KBC2,though second version was technically superior than the first version,Version 1 was a classic with amitabh and his radiance added effervescence to the show, i had missed only very few episodes in the first show, but during the second version i got to see very few episodes only and now the third version is targeted at the younger generation am sure King Khan will do a great job already reviews are pouring out on his side, this was a remark i found on CNN IBN regarding the new show..

Ironical as it may sound, Cadbury is one of the sponsors of the show with Big B featuring in the ads. So who really was a refreshing ‘break’ – Big B or SRK?

So King Khan has started out all guns blazing!! Hasnt he ??but these two icons should not be compared, each different in their own styles their presence itself is a big plus for the show,well am sure all fortunate fans will enjoy it except unfortunate people like us who happen to miss a lot of good shows like this due to the set top box fiasco!!



As i completed my cricket blog yesterday i was thinking about the worldcup whether i myself will be able to watch the cricket world cup here in chennai, since star sports has got the telecast rights for the match(Hopefully there wont be any Mandira bedi to compere for that!!! :)) i am wondering whether it will be possible for us to catch the action here in chennai,but am hoping that Star sports will be tuned in for the viewers atleast till the world cup lasts since i happen to watch the final of the FIFA WC here in chennai only, but i also wish that the whole set top box issue gets solved in chennai soon cause there are so many programs which are being missed by me here!! now a new fiasco has come up with the issue between the NEO Tv and prasar bharati all DADA fans were deprived to see his awesome comeback.. what a comeback it has been for him(more on it my Greatest Sporting comebacks coming soon!!) the rate of commercialisation has gone to such a level that fans dont get a opportunity to see a match which is being played in india , What the hell!!

ESPN & STAR SPORTS
These two happen to be my homepage channels back home for me i miss sportsline,sportscentre,EPL,CL missed the Ashes :(, presently missing Australian Open, Will miss F1 season too , God save me!!
STAR MOVIES& HBO
missed the Bond mania on star movies closer to the release of casino royale, currently missing the Oscar Fever, plus the regular movies, heard Saw series is coming to HBO soon!!!
CARTOON NETWORK
This is the channel i see during all seasons though the quality is not like the old times its certainly rocking with some new shows, missing the sunday matinee theatre on CN
AXN- Missing Who dares wins and so many adventure shows and films there
Ten Sports- WWE specials
National Geographic Channel,History Channel,Discovery channel - Oh how much countless hours i have spent watching them!!
Star world - Too many shows to type here

oh i really feel sad after typing all these shows, i am not greedy enough to get back all the channels.. all i want to see is the cricket world cup, hope that i get to see it here in chennai with out any dilemmas..folks do pray for me, those who are in chennai i am sure you will agree with me..cheers!! untill next time!!
