Size doesnt matter!!

Size does matter like the godzilla way.. but some times very small things can do miraculous things... i came across one such little wonder when i went home for a three day break to my home place(3 days sure went like 3 hours!!).. The Little Wonder happened to be none other than the cute little Ipod Shuffle(My recent sweet heart along with K800i & Iphone)..




It was love @ second meeting(u can call it loading otherwise) actually, the first meeting happened a month back when i loaded the songs into my friends brand new ipod.. i wasnt impressed much as i did not have much time to work with device that time.. i thought it is not going to be a huge hit like the bigger version...

In the mean time in this one month gap i was watching the year end reviews of gadgets on many news channels, in that the surprise was that in a rating of top 50 gadgets the Bigger ipod version slipped to high 40s among the gadgets.. then came the biggest surprise to me.. Ipod shuffle was the runner up in the top 50 gadgets edging over the Sony PSP n K800is and losing to the Ultimate device 0f 2k6 whioch happened to be XBox..Then my curiosity got aroused.. i was interested in a taking a good look @ the device..

Then came the moment..I got the device again to load new songs for my friend again.. i was listening to some songs in the middle of the night.. when i was listening to the "Wherever i may roam" song from metallica black album i fell in love with it.. cause i never heard the music transition in that song more clearly through any player like this ... right from the slow sitar tune till it transitions to the machoistic electric guitars beat..

i have heard that song as much as N number of times in my creative 1500Watts Inspire speakers which are fine tuned with recent plugins in media player.. Usually that song used to rock my entire house inside out.. but the clarity of the apple technologies was way beyond my speakers.. i even tried playing that album in my new sony wega tv with my philips dvd player with high quality audio cd of black album..it was no match to the shuffle's ambience!!!

This little device has even more interesting features.. though the memory limit is 1GB the awesome sound clarity makes up for it.. it can even store data files throught i tunes we can partition the memory betweeen audio and data files.. the loading of entire 1GB through itunes wont even take more than a hour..iTunes offers some new features for iPod shuffle. One is the ability to reduce the bit rate of songs to 128 kbit/s AAC. The conversion is done automatically, with the original file left untouched on the computer and the smaller (lower bit rate) file sent to the iPod shuffle.

So people who are looking for quality music player around 5000 bucks i can assure that you can blindly buy Ipod shuffle cause its way above other devices in the same cost region.. I think shuffle will be released with higher memory soon cause it was a super hit last year.. so once again Apple dominated the market last year thanks to Shuffle.. This year am sure Iphone will be on the podium for sure but ishuffle will be in the fight among the top 10 contestants..

Apple's caption for the product goes like this..."Smaller than a pack of gum and much more fun".. it also had a footnote warning on its american website "Do not chew iPod shuffle".. No wonder Apple rocks!! I luv this company.. This post i dedicate to my cute frnd who gave me a first hand shot @ the device!!
