Jeep's Amazing waterfall!!

Jeep uses this waterfall for its displays. According to the waterfall's builder, the system works like an ink-jet printer, with 3,000 valves organizing the droplets via computer program into visible logos and other messages, which appear as the droplets descend 24-feet into a trough and it debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in 2000. A professor at the University of Wisconsin helped George P. Johnson (DCX’s vendor for auto show builds) develop the system for Jeep’s use. Some quick stats about the Waterfall

- 24 foot drop
- Images can be up to 54 feet wide
- 1000 gallons of water
- 3000 valves program the water, much like an inkjet printer
- Computer programs tells the valves to fire, like a printer
- Water is filtered from below and is redistributed up through both columns on each side
