Discrete!!!

Its been a long time again since i posted (Discrete is the word, so i made it the title of this post) so i thought i might scribe something today.. first reason i have been deprived off blogger cnxion in office now.. reason two i have been shifted from main office(HQ would sound better) to another subsidiary office which is just coming up...it doesnt have all the facilities of the main office which had a very good lunch facility which am gonna miss in the coming days.. The lunch here is crap.. so that makes life all the more difficult for me.. No direct bus to this office which means i would have to board the city buses(Heavily crowded) to get to the office that too when you come with a Full formal and with your shoes nicely polished it will be a great battle to keep people from stamping your shoes in the bus!! I always wonder why the hell people have to come with a full formal attire to do a coding job sitting in front of PC,PC doesnt mind whether you wear a full formal or casual!!

So much for my ramblings one thing i learnt after becoming a professional, always gear up for the next challenge it may come in any moment and the challenge may be entirely newer arena to you!!

Then coming to the World cup, i watched India Vs Bdesh and Pak Vs Ireland matches concurrently.. i liked the way bangladesh batted and i watched the match completely the bangladeshi players most of them who are teenagers batted with so much composure that made indians look like dunce and as a matter of fact india played real crap cricket if india played crappish game pakistani game was even worser.. Indians have this knack always struggling to make it to the next round, no matter whatever be the tournament they play.. We lack the term Professionalism which is seen among the likes of Aussies and Proteas...

One analogy i want to make here, In India cricket is the prime game i think most of us forgot our national game is hockey, BCCI is the richest board in the world but the development of cricket in india has curbed the development of other sports... i mean to stay indians dont look @ anything beyond cricket,Football is not so famous in india..Think of hockey i was watching the Hockey world cup which was held in chennai last year.. The crowd presence was missing then India as hosts missed the advantage and they were playing for the 11th spot in the world cup.. wat an irony!! India was one of the greatest hockey teams,Sad But True!! same is the case with the Athletics and other sports...It can be summed up by a single world viz olympics!!! my point is simple please do focus on other sports before it faces extinction in india!! and even in cricket our team never managed to win a world cup despite the usual pre world cup build ups!! i bet no team has a build up like our team when it enters world cup everytime..

I would like to compare our nation with Australia, Australia had been dominating cricket ever since 1999 Wc till this year when their run of form has been temporarily stopped making them slip to number 2 ranking.. but still they are the team to beat in the worldcup.. even though they dominated cricket equal importance was given to other sports in the country too..
i would like to quote the sporting status of Aussies during the year 1999-2000
World Champions of Cricket
World Swimming Tournament champions
World Champions of Hockey
Olympic Fourth place overall(Sydney olympics)
World Rugby champions
World Champions of Cricket (Women's Tournament)

presently some of the trophies have interchanged but still Aussies are one of the best sporting nations with a very little population remember much of the central australian part is the Great Australian Desert.. I am not exagerrating anything here i am just lamenting on the fact that we are the second highest in population and we dont win anything more than a single bronze or silver in every olympics!! But china usually gives a great performance in olympics equalling the likes of Americas and Russia's..

I do hope India comes out of the cricket addiction soon.. but dont think it will be that quick..but this worldcup has been very eventful including 2 deaths...one of Manjural Islam and other of Bob Woolmer.. Very unfortunate indeed.. but i feel sorry for Inzy's career to end in such a fashion.. He deserved much more.. and to my satisfaction Aussies and Windies have booked their spots for next round..
then the billion dollar question on every indian's mind!!
Can they or wont they??
i think odds are against us lets wait and see!! untill next time!!cheers!!

magine wearing a beach t-shirt and 3/4ths to an office...it would spoil the whole thing about professionalism.

And India has as much chance of making it to the super-8's as you have of wearing a beach t-shirt to your office:))..kidding.

Suddenly the world cup looks like an Agatha cristie thriller with all the suspicions over Bob woolmer's death...

for the other games to take off , u need sponsors but for sponsors to chip in they need the game to be popular. itz a viscious circle
